ROH Supercard of Honor Claudio Castagnoli Eddie Kingston

Ring of Honor held its first pay-per-view of 2023 when it presented the ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31.

Among other matches, Claudio Castagnoli defended the ROH Word Championship against Eddie Kingston, and new ROH World Tag Team Champions were crowned in the “Reach for the Sky” Ladder Match. Plus, El Hijo del Vikingo defended the AAA Mega Championship, Yuka Sakazaki challenged Athena for the ROH World Championship, and more.

The results are as follows:

Zero Hour Pre-Show

Jeff Cobb vs. Tracy Williams

Cobb and Williams feel each other out. The United Empire member overpowers Williams and slams him. Cobb hits a Mongolian thrust and suplexes him. Williams rallies with a Saito suplex. They trade blows, and Williams gets a two count with a DDT. Cobb pins Williams with the Tour of the Islands.

Winner: Jeff Cobb

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Willie Mack

Willow Nightingale vs. Miranda Alize

Nightingale takes control early on and suplexes Alize. The two women go back and forth after Alzie counters a dive to the outside. Alize hits a running elbow in the corner. Willow rallies with some strikes and gains the upper hand. She drops Alize with a spinebuster. Alize hits a neckbreaker and grounds Willow. She traps Willow in an armbar. Willow evades the Drive-by and levels Alize with a Pounce. Willow gets the win with the Doctor Bomb.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Slim J (with Mark Sterling & Ari Daivari) vs. Stu Grayson (with Evil Uno)

Grayson dominated the match in the early stages as he took the fight to Slim J with a series of strikes. Slim J heads to the outside to regroup. Back in the ring, Slim J takes Grayson down with a headscissors takedown. Grayson hits a senton slingshot on Slim J while he’s laid out on the apron.

Sterling distracted the referee, and Daivari caught Grayson’s attention. Slim J capitalizes and takes control. He gets a two count with a modified DDT. Grayson and Slim J exchange blows. Grayson slams Slim J to the mat and hits a moonsault for a two count. A pop-up powerslam earns Grayson a two count. A standing Sliced ​​Bread scores Slim J a two count of his own. Grayson rolls out of the way on a moonsault attempt. Sterling distracts the referee, and Evil Uno takes him out. Grayson hits a knee strike and the Nightfall for the win.

AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Commander

Vikingo and Komander feel each other out. The commander briefly takes control, but the two competitors go back and forth. They’re evenly matched as they trade fast-paced offense. Vikingo goes for a dive, but Komander counters him. Komander hits a springboard dropkick. Komander dives onto Komander at ringside. He grabs a table and dives onto Vikingo again. The champion rallies with some kicks. Vikingo goes for a springboard move, but Komander counters with a powerbomb. Vikingo dives onto Komander and gets a two count with a springboard 450. Komander hits a destroyer on the apron. Komander keeps rolling with a rope-walk dive.

Vikingo hits a Destroyer. Komander rallies and hits a corkscrew splash, but Vikingo reaches the ropes to break up the pin.

Vikingo slams Komander off the top. He hits a 630 Splash for the win.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: The Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun & Toa Liona) (c) vs. Metallic, AR Fox & Blake Christian

The challengers dive onto the champions early on to gain some momentum. Kaun and Liona overpower Metallic. Fox tags in and stuns Cage with a flurry of offense, including a diving cutter. Fox catches Kaun with a cutter as well. Cage floors Fox with an F-10. Liona tags in, but the challengers take charge as Christian dives onto Liona at ringside. Metallic gets a two count with a diving elbow. Christian slams Cage to the mat. Liona trucks over Fox. Metallic plants Liona with an acrobatic DDT. The action breaks down as bodies start flying. Metallic cage floors with a clothesline and spikes him with a brainbuster for the win.

ROH Women’s World Championship: Athens (c) vs. Yuka Sakazaki

The two competitors are evenly matched early on. Sakazaki hits a cannonball dive to the outside. Athena takes control and grounds Sakazaki. The challenger rallies and kicks Athena in the corner. Sakazaki cartwheels to evade Athens. “The Fallen Goddess” counters Sakazaki and powerbombs her for a two count. Athena slams Sakazaki for another two count. She knocks Sakazaki to the outside. Sakazaki dives onto Athena and gains the upper hand. She gets a two count with a splash. Sakazaki superplexes Athena and slams her for another two count. Athena hits the O-Face out of nowhere to retain.
