WEST COVINA, Calif. (KABC) — Police responded to a West Covina mall Friday night to analyze a smash-and-grab theft at a jewellery retailer.
Officers from the West Covina Police Division obtained a name concerning a theft in progress round 7:30 pm at Kevin Jewelers within the Plaza West Covina mall at 112 Plaza Drive, Sgt. Matt Nelson advised Metropolis Information Service.

“After getting into the shop and breaking the show instances, the three suspects ran out of the shop with a big amount of bijou to a ready automobile,” Nelson stated.
The sergeant famous that there was an preliminary report of photographs fired, however police later decided it was the sound of glass being smashed.
Investigators inform Eyewitness Information three suspects seen sporting hoods and ski masks robbed the jewellery retailer utilizing hammers. They stated they took off and jumped right into a ready car.
No accidents had been reported.
