Lucie BongLai Le says she was filled with dread, after discovering missing items at the 2nd Act West, the consignment shop she’s owned for 9 years.

Las Vegas maid stole $768,000 in jewelry from hotel room, police say

A housekeeper for a Las Vegas hotel was charged for allegedly stealing more than $750,000 worth of jewelry from a room last month, including designer watches, bracelets and necklaces, according to police and court files obtained by The Washington Post.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified Amanda Melendez from housekeeping logs and key card tracking information at Vdara Hotel & Spa, an MGM property on the Strip. OAK LAWN, Ill. — The owner of an Oak Lawn jewelry store is in the hospital after a trio of suspects burst through a wall in the business and stole property, on top of assaulting the owner.

Police said Elias Mseeh, owner of Ramallah Jewelry in Oak Lawn, had just opened up for the day, around 12:15 pm, when three thieves burst through a wall into the store.
