It’s 2023, and it’s no secret that Henry Cavill is the actor that producers would love to have in their movie or TV series. The actor flawlessly portrays his roles, from Superman to Geralt of Rivia, Cavill has nailed his characters. In his role as Geralt of Rivia, the actor was immensely praised for his accurate and authentic portrayal of a monster hunter. The Witcher was a must-watch show, but soon it was heavily criticized as the show announced the change in its lead actor.
However, fans of Henry Cavill are excited as his departure from the Netflix series has opened up more possibilities for him to work in different adaptation franchises. And it looks like the Enola Holmes actor would be part of The Lord of the Rings franchise, working alongside Peter Jackson. Well, not quite, as a fan account has generated an AI image of Cavill as an Elf, and the image looks quite convincing.

The AI-generated Image of Henry Cavill As An Elf
A fan account by the name of Abandoned Films, which generates AI images of the potential films that fans dream of, shared several pictures with the caption “The Silmarillion (2024) directed by Peter Jackson”. The post had many pictures that showcased the vast world of Middle-Earth and how things would have turned out if a movie had ever taken place.
In the album of 35 pictures, featuring the scenery, and characters, the account featured Henry Cavill as an Elf, potentially playing the role of Fingolfin or Sauron. However, looking at his armor it can be said that the AI had portrayed Henry Cavill as Fëanor, the second King of the Ñoldor, a warrior and the craftsman responsible for the Silmarils.
Even though Fëanor was a protagonist in JRR Tolkien’s The Silmarillion, his pride and bitterness toward his enemies led him to his downfall. His oath drove him to pursue Morgoth until a killing blow was landed on the second King of the Ñoldor, by Gothmog, the Lord of Balrogs.

Can Fans Expect a Movie Adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s The Silmarillion?
Over the years, Tolkien’s renowned works such as The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbits, but for quite some time fans of the franchise have wondered if The Silmarillion would be adapted into a film. Tolkien had been working on the book for quite some time but the work was not completed until his death in 1973. Moreover, the author’s son, Christopher Tolkien, developed the material and did a lot of editing before publishing it in 1977. As a result unlike, Tolkien’s other works The Silmarillion is not a popular read among the fans.
In addition to the popularity of the work, the story is vast and acts as a prequel, telling too many stories, and acting as the Bible of Middle-Earth. It tells the creation story of Middle-Earth, as well as the crucial events that led to the formation of Middle-Earth. since The Silmarillion features too many essential events and tells so many stories of characters that can’t be skipped, it would be extremely difficult to adapt it into a feature film.
However, if the creators decide to tell the story in individual films or in the form of a TV series, then it would be an excellent source of entertainment. Moreover, the story would be coherent and capture all the essential details of the story.
