On Monday, the LSU Tigers defeated the Florida Gators in dominant fashion to win the 2023 Men’s College World Series finals and secure the program’s seventh national championship (and first since 2009). The Tigers went 54-12 on the year, and fielded a roster that included possibly the No. 1 and 2 picks in the upcoming Major League Baseball amateur draft in outfielder Dylan Crews (this year’s Golden Spikes Award winner) and right-hander Paul Skenes.

This One-of-a-Kind ‘Lord of the Rings’ Trading Card Could Be Worth $2 Million

the Lord of the Rings film series has been quite lucrative. But a single trading card related to the franchise is also garnering some serious cash.

An exclusive “One Ring” card for the tabletop game “Magic: The Gathering” is fetching offers of more than $2 million, The Wall StreetJournal reported on Friday. If it ends up selling for that much, it will become the most expensive “Magic” card ever sold.

Something was in the air recently when a photographer in Finland snapped a stunning shot of concentric rainbow-colored rings around the sun. And it turned out that something was pollen.

Miko Peussa captured the eye-catching images on May 30 near his home in Turku. The multicolored rings are called “pollen coronas” and are caused by sunlight scattering off pollen in the water, according to Spaceweather.com. If you’ve ever wondered how well your coworker slept last night, now you can know for sure as long as you’re connected with them through Circles, a new feature Oura announced Thursday for its app.

Oura, the health-tracking ring that collects data such as temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen readings, summarizes that information into Readiness, Sleep and Activity scores.
