Thieves in the Dallas area pulled off a heist this weekend that saw millions of dollars worth of valuables lifted from a local jewelry store. The burglars relied on a remarkably simple move to break into the store, according to one of the managers of the business.

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Garden Grove on Thursday, which resulted in more than $500,000 worth of jewelry being stolen.

According to a press release, the incident occurred at around 12:40 pm as victims were transporting the jewelry along the 22 Freeway, having just exited via the Magnolia Avenue offramp. DA seeking victims of Williamsville jewelry scammer to give statements to parole board

In 2015, a Williamsville jeweler was sentenced to 23 to 69 years in prison after he was admitted to scamming dozens of customers over two decades by selling them fake diamonds.

The former jeweler, Paul J. Blarr of Amherst, who is now 56, will be up for parole in three months. And Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn wants to make sure all of his victims have a chance to tell their stories before hand.

CBP officers seize $10 million in pretend Cartier, different jewellery in Cincinnati

US Customs and Border Safety (CBP) officers devoted three shipments containing counterfeit jewellery final week in Cincinnati, most of which have been Cartier bracelets.
