Noah Lyles wins the men’s 200m quick as records fall behind him

Noah Lyles won an extremely quick men’s 200m race at the London Athletics Meet 2023 Diamond League event in the British capital on Sunday (23 July).

The American found himself pushed hard by both Britain’s national sprint double champion Zharnell Hughes and Botswana’s sprint sensation Letsile Tebogo around the bend, before putting some distance between himself and his rivals.

Tebogo kicked hard to give Lyles a scare, but the world champion came home first in 19.47, improving his own 2023 world-leading time by two-tenths of a second.

Tebogo’s 19.50 was a new African record, eclipsing Frankie Fredericks’ 19.68 from the

That marks two teams — after the San Diego Padres in May — who won’t appear on the Bally Sports airwaves anymore.

Diamond, which operates a number of regional sports networks (RSNs) using the Bally Sports branding,

Ontario’s first diamond mine in the final stages of closing up

Active closure is expected to be done this summer, though the site will be monitored until at least 2039

Before the Victor Mine even had permission to operate, De Beers was working on its closure plan.

Today, Ontario’s first diamond mine — located in a remote area of the James Bay lowlands west of Attawapiskat First Nation — fewer than 100 people remain on-site. That’s far less than the 500 employees and contractors who were there during the height of the mine’s operations, said De Beers head of corporate affairs Erik Madsen.

Madsen was the guest speaker at the Timmins
