Ashley Graham has become a household name beyond the catwalk, thanks to her work as a model, entrepreneur and body-positivity advocate. Her cameo in the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada shows how her influence now extends into mainstream pop culture, and it coincides with her growing partnership with luxury watchmaker OMEGA.
The collaboration began in 2024 when Graham joined OMEGA’s celebrity “Bob Run” campaign. A year later she fronted the brand’s Aqua Terra 30 mm collection, and she recently appeared at the OMEGA House event in Milano Cortina. Graham says the brand’s serious approach to women’s watches is a key draw.
According to Graham, OMEGA designs are built for the way people actually move through a day. She notes that the moment she slips a piece on, the watch feels tailored to her rhythm, a quality she finds rare in other luxury timepieces.
A Growing Role with OMEGA
Graham’s schedule is packed with runway shows, business meetings and family commitments. She explains that when she finds a watch she loves wearing, she wants it to “keep up” with every demand, citing its elegant design and thoughtfully chosen materials as reasons she doesn’t think twice about wearing it.
She treats the watch as a constant anchor. While her earrings may change three times before she leaves the house and her bag is swapped for each occasion, the watch stays on her wrist from morning until night, adapting to every outfit without a second thought.
As the market shifts, such collaborations can reshape consumer expectations around representation, making high-end products feel more inclusive and relatable.
Watches as Daily Anchors
When asked what “time well spent” means to her, Graham contrasts early-career hustle with later-life priorities. She says the phrase now evokes moments with her husband and children, and she appreciates that a mechanical watch pulls her out of constant screen notifications.
She views her OMEGA piece as both tool and statement. While astronauts have relied on OMEGA watches for navigation in space, Graham notes that the same watch can transition from a red-carpet appearance one night to a trans-atlantic flight the next, embodying a versatile fashion statement.
Graham recalls her first watch, a middle-school gift from her parents that made her feel “grown-up.” The sentimental value of that early timepiece set the tone for her lifelong connection to watches.
She describes watches as “quiet little markers” of life stages, noting that she still owns every watch she has ever bought or received. Each piece can transport her back to a specific moment when she puts it on.
Graham says she owns about seven watches. Among them, the Aqua Terra 30 mm remains her favorite, a model she says “genuinely lives on my wrist” as summer approaches.
Personal Milestones Marked by Timepieces
She still has all the watches she’s ever bought, or that people have given her, and when she puts those pieces on, she feels like she’s right back in that moment for a second.
Future Outlook and Intentional Time Use
She explains that managing the clock is a daily negotiation, balancing professional commitments with family time. Planning ahead and protecting each hour are habits she emphasizes as essential to making the most of her schedule. With her growing career and personal life, Graham is excited to continue working toward her goals and making time for what matters most.
