The athletics’ 2023 Diamond League season resumes in Oslo with a deep field led by four reigning world record holders: Karsten Warholm (400m hurdles), Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis (pole vaults), Wayde Van Niekerk (400m), and triple jumpers Yulimar Rojas.
Throughout history, the Bislett Stadium has been a haven for world records.
With such a deep field consisting of Olympic and world champions across various track and field events, there’s a chance that several world records could be rewritten, as previously seen in the series and at this venue.
