Q4: Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?

“Apart from the enchanting sunset moment, we kept the day relatively low-key without adding too many personal touches. Im so glad we did this as the sunset was absolutely amazing and it added a unique element to our wedding that many guests enjoyed. Other than that, we had so much fun at our wedding and loved all of the speeches, the food was great and we had a blast dancing with everyone!”

Q5: Let’s talk fashion. How did you both choose your wedding day look? Describe the looks in detail.

“I found my dress online first as I saw it pictured on the beach and once I tried it on in the bridal shop, I felt like it was not only very comfortable, but it looked and felt like the perfect beach wedding dress. For grooms and groomsmen, we wanted to do something sand-colored and lightweight so we found something that was just that. John wore sand-colored linen pants with a white button-down long sleeve and a sand-colored vest.”

Q6: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.

“John and I met on Hinge about 2 years ago. We were very similar in our interests and beliefs and after our third date, we both felt like we knew we would end up getting married at some point. About a year and a half after meeting, both of our businesses started to grow more and we felt like we were at a good place in our lives to get married. John and I are both very private people so the proposal ended up being in the perfect location. John had been bringing the ring with him for the past week and he was waiting for the right time.

So on Sunday, November 20th, we went to breakfast and ended up doing a spontaneous hike up near horse tooth mountain. The hike turned out to take us to a beautiful spot that we had never been before and there was nobody else around. I could tell John was acting differently and he seemed nervous so when I asked if he was ready to go back down the mountain, he took a second and then proposed right there.”
