Pandora appoints new CFO and North America president

Pandora has announced significant leadership changes, naming Paulo Garcia as the incoming chief financial officer and André Branch as the new president of its North America cluster.

André Branch will assume the role of president of North America effective August 15, based in New York. The company stated he will oversee operations in one of its key growth markets. Branch brings more than 25 years of experience across the consumer, beauty, and lifestyle sectors. He joins Pandora from R.E.M. Beauty, where he served as CEO. His previous leadership roles include senior positions in North America and Europe at Estée Lauder, L’Oréal, Diageo, and Kraft Heinz.

Pandora indicated Branch will focus on strengthening customer relevance and broadening the brand’s appeal. The company identified North America as a critical component of its broader growth strategy. Branch succeeds Luciano Rodembusch, who left the company in February 2026.

“André is a highly accomplished commercial leader with a strong track record of driving growth across global consumer businesses,” Massimo Basei, Pandora’s chief commercial officer, stated. “His ability to combine strategic clarity with disciplined execution makes him exactly the right person to lead our North America business.”

In his own comments, Branch expressed excitement about the opportunity. “I am excited to take on this role and build on Pandora’s strong position in North America,” he said. “The region holds significant opportunities, and I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen execution, deepen customer relevance, and drive sustainable growth.”

Succession at the helm of finance

Simultaneously, Pandora has outlined a transition for its financial leadership. CFO Anders Boyer will retire on November 30, 2026. Paulo Garcia will join the company on October 1 and become CFO on December 1. This arrangement provides a two-month handover period.

Garcia is a Portuguese national with 25 years of international executive experience in consumer goods. He joins Pandora from Walmart Mexico & Central America, where he served as CFO. Before that, he was CFO Europe and Indonesia at Ahold Delhaize and held senior finance roles at Unilever.

Pandora Chair Peter Ruzicka commented on the transition process, which was conducted with CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier. “I am happy that we can carry out a thorough handover from Anders to Paulo and maintain our strategic momentum,” Ruzicka said. “I want to thank Anders for his incredible contributions to Pandora during the past 14 years, and I wish him all the best in his next chapter as he retires from executive life.”

Boyer joined Pandora’s board in 2012 and became CFO in 2018. During his tenure, the company reported revenue growth of 389 per cent since 2012, with total shareholder return exceeding 2000 per cent. “I leave Pandora with a deep sense of gratitude for the many colleagues I have worked with and immense pride in what we have achieved together,” Boyer said.

Garcia emphasized the attractiveness of the company’s business model. “I am excited and honoured to take on the role as CFO of Pandora,” he said. “As the world’s largest jewellery brand, the company represents an attractive and unique business model with industry-leading margins and very high cash generation.”
